The HL Meditation
|
The 'Holistic Mediation' is a special
meditation designed specially to shake off the roots of a fragmented
psyche, thus opening the door for Holistic Living. It helps
us to easily expand - to be & feel the totality, enables us to use all
our faculties to live a particular moment intensely, and helps us
experience the state of transcendental & infinite being-ness - as our
very Self.
HL Meditation has been designed by
Poojya Guruji Sri Swami Atmanandaji and is initially practiced in the
Weekly HL Forums with his pre-recorded Audio Tape.
Best Time
: Early morning after you have had a
good sleep and have freshened up. Can be repeated anytime of the day.
Steps & Sequence of HL Meditation:
1. Sit down comfortably in any asana in
which you can sit without moving for minimum 15-20 minutes. You can
sit down with legs folded on the ground (preferable), or even in a
chair. However keep your back absolutely straight, and don't take rest
on the wall or chairs back-rest.
2. Deep Breathe three times. Inhale to your full lung capacity, retain
for some time, then exhale all the air our completely. Breathe with
your nose, keeping the mouth shut. Remain with empty lungs for a
moment, and then again inhale.
3. While inhalation 'feel' as though all the good qualities you
cherish are going inside you, and while exhalation 'feel' that all the
negativities are going out from your body.
4. Visualize that you are standing near some beach or seeing the vast
infinite skies. Feel you have become one with this vast expanse. You
are all-pervasive like the sky. You are one with all, everything is in
you. Be in this state for sometime, enjoying this 'expansion' and the
state of 'infinite being'. Know this to be your real identity.
5. Then slowly become conscious of your body again. Feel you have
donned this robe again to play whatever drama & role which you deem
fit on the stage of life.
6. Pray to God that 'May you always retain the total holistic vision
at all times', and 'May all be happy & prosperous'. Slowly move your
fingers, legs and body posture. Then get up to live a dynamic &
inspired day.
